new growth!

Onion that was planted just a week ago. We planted 10. On Friday, 3 had pushed through the soil!

The French Radish seems to be doing well. They've been in plot #10 for a week now. I wish that I had a little plant cam that would let me see what was going on below with these little guys.
Well... plot #10 is not the only one that has had some critter eating leaves. I've not had too much of a problem compared to Kelly and even Rob in other plots. We're still not sure what is eating the leaves... in my plot this is a cucumber but the critter also enjoys broccoli and lettuces. The cucumber is still making progress despite missing a section of that left leaf.

The exciting new growth comes from the sighting of the swiss chard, spinach, and tomatillos that were all planted from seed last weekend. I didn't expect to see them so quickly!
